Research focus

Our most important research method is long-term observation and intensive work on concrete tasks in practice, together with our customers, their top management and key performers at all hierarchical levels.

“Best Strategy” is the result of over 35 years of research and consulting in the field of strategic management.

What do you need as a young professional or manager to be noticeable and successful? There are two skills you should particularly develop: “Leading employees skillfully” and “appearing and acting confidently”.

Managers deal with an enormous variety of issues, relationships, tasks and challenges. In order to think holistically, but also act simply and effectively, they need a navigation aid. This is the real benefit of a “management model”.

Every company needs a healthy amount of entrepreneurship. Management is responsible for finding the happy medium of result-oriented self-organization: not too much to be able to control everything. Not too little to turn good ideas into good business.

“Corporate Health Check” is an analysis tool that reinforces strengths, but ruthlessly reveals the need for action: Where should we continue as before, where should we change?

“Executive Leadership” is more than just managing people: it also includes managing an organization. We show how top managers, as well as those responsible for parts of the company, can lead an organization successfully and sustainably.

If you want to grow profitably, you can take different paths. But which are the most promising paths? Our studies and long-term observations provide valuable insights.

If the level of suffering is high, things that are dear to you can be changed. But how does change management work without acute suffering?

With “Leadership Dynamics” we try to capture the success factors for great leadership achievements in practice and condense them so that they can be taught in an applicable way in our seminars.

“Career Killers” is a project in which we examine the success factors, but also the triggers for failure in the professional careers of young managers, project leaders and specialists. You will gain insights into what you should not do if you want to make a career.

“Leading” is something completely different from “executing”. Those who lead seek success through the committed performance of their employees. Young managers must learn to make even better use of their strengths in the leadership process.

The structure drives the development of a company in a certain direction. Interventions in the organization therefore develop a strong force. Anyone who reorganizes must recognize this: “What structure will help us to achieve our goals effectively?”

“Market success” is based on strong, profitable market positions. Also on clear differentiation, a strong brand and a good image. Market success is based on maximum customer benefit and enthusiastic customers. Market success then results in financial success. Therefore: What paths are there to market leadership and how is market success actively managed?

“Execution” is the ability to help action to break through. In many companies, there is too much talk and discussion, but nothing happens. How can a company that is keen on discussion but weak in action become one that focuses on execution?

“Profit Dynamics” is a research project with which we want to turn a large number of managers and employees in the company into “profit managers”. Based on a sustainable, ethically responsible “profit culture”, as many people as possible in the company should actively work to exploit the company’s profit potential – for the benefit of all.

Those who set the tone and get bosses’ attention make a career. How do you qualify for higher positions with more responsibility based on good performance?
