“There is nothing better than helping people to lead a happy and dignified life. When I founded Sinfonia por el Perú in 2011, I didn’t realize the significant improvements it would bring to thousands of families and their communities.

In music schools across the country, children and young people learn in groups, choirs and orchestras. Learning together gives them self-confidence, a sense of responsibility, respect and a sense of community. It forms a framework of values that gives young people not only momentary orientation, but also a perspective for life.

They gain the confidence and courage to stand up for something, including their own dreams.”
