The cooperation between St. Gallen Business School (SGBS) and SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences (SRH) offers attractive academic studies for three different target groups:
Our study directors are available to provide you with detailed information and answer questions about admission to the individual degree programs by phone or in person. Applications and inquiries should be sent to studies@sgbs.com or by phone +41 71 225 40 80.
The admission regulations of both the St. Gallen Business School and the SRH apply to each individual course of study. All regulations and education-specific legal requirements apply, and these may change over time. Any changes to the regulations on admission, the course of study and the curriculum itself, the examinations and the degree are automatically accepted by the student and integrated into the ongoing course of study.
Anyone who wants to book one of the academic programs sends us an application and then receives an application form, which must be filled out and submitted to the Director of Studies in our office. The application is examined and decided upon by both SGBS and SRH. There is no right to admission. Following the application, the decision on definitive admission is made and communicated in writing within a few days, along with provisions and information on the next steps.
The contractual partner of the students or the commissioning companies for part-time studies for the Executive MBA, MBA or MA is the St. Gallen Business School, which integrates SRH services into the course as part of a cooperation agreement or SRH directly, depending on the study program booked. The tuition fees are invoiced by SGBS or SRH, depending on the study Program booked.
The contractual partner of the students or the contracting companies for the full-time study program “MA in International Management” or other full-time courses is SRH, the services of SGBS are integrated into the course as part of a cooperation agreement. The tuition fees are invoiced by SRH.
The cooperation between SGBS and SRH is based on the following basic principle: the academic curriculum, examinations, awarding of ECTS and the awarding of the academic title and other academic performance components are carried out by SRH. The St. Gallen Business School is responsible for aligning the St. Gallen study modules with the highest practical relevance, teaching in the context of seminar/block modules suitable for managers, application and implementation as well as study support. Our motto: “Learn what is really useful”. The focus of the St. Gallen performance components is the imparting of current knowledge for demanding managers and the practical application for the benefit of today’s employer. Both SGBS and SRH periodically issue study regulations and ordinances, which are an integral part of the contractual relationship with the students. These are handed over as a separate document during the admission process.
The start of the course is the day of written confirmation of definitive admission to SGBS and/or the day of enrollment at SRH. For the management-specific EMBA or MBA courses, the individual study plan is drawn up a few days after confirmation of admission. We will provide you with working documents and electronic tools, which you fill out and return to us. In a subsequent telephone conversation, we will then clarify which special skills and learning in-depths you want to acquire or achieve with the St. Gallen practical course. From this, we will develop the individual study plan with you, including all the courses, studies and seminar modules, project work, colloquium, as well as the dates and locations. The individual scheduling situation will be taken into account – as far as the study regulations allow. The exact start of the course can be found in the respective information on the SGBS and SRH websites.
The tuition fee (plus statutory VAT) includes the costs for the study modules at St. Gallen Business School and SRH Berlin, seminar and lecture attendance, online courses, colloquia, electronic seminar materials, assessment of project work, exams and ongoing support. Not included are all accommodation, travel and hotel costs incurred in connection with the seminar and colloquium attendance. These must be paid directly by the participants at the respective event location. The tuition fee can be paid in installments. The respective fee regulations of the SGBS and SRH apply, which you will receive together with all the information you need after receiving your application. The applicable cancellation regulations also apply in the event that you cancel the booked program after admission and enrollment.
For the EMBA and MBA programs that are to be completed alongside work, those modules that are completed at St. Gallen Business School can be rebooked a maximum of three times for professional or personal reasons. All dates for academic achievements are specified by SRH. Achievements not completed and claimed at SGBS and/or SRH expire without compensation. The course must be completed within the time period specified by SGBS and/or SRH, otherwise the events already attended and parts of the course completed expire without compensation.
The “SGBS Certified Experts St. Gallen” certificate acquired at the St. Gallen Business School is awarded during a four-day closing ceremony in St. Gallen. The ECTS credits acquired through the bridging program are awarded by SRH. The academic titles are awarded by SRH during a closing ceremony in Berlin.
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance with your insurance company to cover cancellation costs due to illness and other events.
