Colloquium with defense and awarding of the Certified Expert
In 4 days in St. Gallen you will learn the holistic St. Gallen management approach: the concept and its application. You will develop your own management model in order to be able to tackle complex tasks in a networked and globalized world in a holistic way.
Approximately 2 months after the start of your studies, you call off your project work at the Directorate of Studies. You have the option of choosing the sector yourself. The topic of the project work will be determined by the Directorate of Studies in consultation with you. The aim is to identify external developments that will change the rules of the game in the industry and present market participants with major adjustment requirements. Once the topic has been approved, you will have 3 – 6 months to write a business case of 20 – 30 compact pages.
You present your work in a one-day colloquium. Your work will be critically scrutinized and you, as the presenter, will justify the findings and options for action formulated in your work. The colloquium takes place at our study campus in St. Gallen.
Over the course of your practical studies, you will take part in several top-class face-to-face or optional online seminars. These are jointly determined in the individual study plan with a focus on the required skills and personal abilities.
Your St. Gallen practical studies end with a 4-day final event: the certification module.
This will be followed on the last afternoon by the awarding of the SGBS Certified Expert St.Gallen.
