Seminars & Programs
Anyone who wants to become a Certified Expert at St. Gallen Business School has high expectations: The program should bring concrete practical benefits. New knowledge and skills should be applied professionally. The investment should be worthwhile, for you and for your employer. That is why we attach great importance to careful selection, and we will be happy to advise you individually before you register.
The admission requirements for each Certified Expert can be found in the description of the individual programs. There is no right to admission; admission to the desired program is decided by the Directorate of Studies.
We accept your registration at any time by means of a registration card, via the Internet or e-mail.
You will then receive the application form by email, fill it out and send it to us by email. Within 5-10 days, the Directorate of Studies will decide on your admission to the program. If you are accepted, we will confirm your application together with an invitation to an individual skills analysis, the invoice for the deposit and further information.
Your St. Gallen practical studies then begin with an individual skills analysis. We will send you special competence tools, which you fill in and return to us. During a meeting in St. Gallen or via video call, we will then gradually draw up the best study plan for you.
This individual study plan is developed jointly: It consists of study modules in St. Gallen, seminar modules in CH or D and the project work. You decide which of the seminar modules you want to complete in person or as a live online event. It offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of time: you choose the dates and locations that suit you and complete the study program in 9 – 12 months.
We take your specific situation into account in the customized study plan. Family and professional aspects are taken into account in the scheduling. Seminars and modules that have already been booked can be rescheduled to a certain extent. If we determine during the introductory skills analysis that you have a particularly high need for further training in a certain subject area, we will take this into account when putting together your individual study plan.
In a 4-day seminar in St. Gallen, we will introduce you to the theory and practical application of the St. Gallen management concept. You will learn how to apply the St. Gallen philosophy of holistic management to solve complex tasks.
Over a period of 9 to 12 months, you will take part in several management seminars at St. Gallen Business School. These are held at different locations, optionally also online.
The best place to learn about the interrelationships and success mechanisms of holistic corporate management is where it was invented: In St. Gallen. You will take part in a number of events in St. Gallen, on our study campus. In small groups, with a high level of supervision.
These include:
As part of a project, students work on a current challenge in their own industry. Length 20 – 30 pages. The study coach provides support as a sparring partner. The work is presented, critically scrutinized and defended during a one-day colloquium in St. Gallen.
Our study support is there for you if you have difficulties with the content or tools you are learning. If you have problems with the project work, we will support you during the particularly important phases.
